Is the consultation free?
Yes. Every tattoo at South Seas starts with a free consultation, whether it is a small piece, a full sleeve or a cover-up. You can come in or talk it through with your artist before anything is booked.
How can I tell if an account is really South Seas?
The shop only books through 954-531-1765 and the Instagram accounts @southseastattoo, @robsolitattoos and @ajatattoos. A fake account using the name @southseastattoocompany_ has asked people for deposits; it is not the shop. If in doubt, call before you pay anything.
Styles and designs
What tattoo styles do you do?
All of them, and all custom. In the shop’s words: “full color, black and grey, realistic or Polynesian, any style you choose we can accommodate you.” The shop is best known for Polynesian and Polyfusion work, and also does fine line, script and watercolor.
Do you do cover-up tattoos?
Yes. South Seas covers old, faded and unwanted tattoos, including old tribal, names, scar tissue and other artists’ work, with Polynesian, color and Japanese-style pieces. Bring a clear photo of the old tattoo to your free consultation. See the cover-up portfolio.
Do you do freehand tattoos?
Yes. Most of the shop’s large Polynesian work is drawn freehand, straight onto the skin, so the design follows the shape of your shoulder, back, ribs or leg. See freehand tattoos.
Can I pick a design that’s already drawn?
Yes. Along with fully custom work, the shop posts pre-drawn designs that are ready to tattoo. See flash and pre-drawn designs or ask at your consultation.

South Seas Tattoo Company is at 6190 W. Sample Road, Suite 113, Coral Springs, FL 33067, inside Bella Salon Suites at Sample Road and US 441. It is a short drive from Parkland, Coconut Creek and Margate.
Did South Seas move from Deerfield Beach?
Yes. South Seas Tattoo Company moved from Deerfield Beach to its new studio in Coral Springs, at 6190 W. Sample Road, Suite 113, inside Bella Salon Suites.
